Greetings!
On behalf of the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Omicron Kappa Omega Chapter, welcome to our official website.
Chartered on June 2, 1984, Omicron Kappa Omega is a chapter that embraces the mission of our founders, Service to All Mankind. We serve Plant City and Lakeland, Florida.
I am honored and grateful to serve as the 2025-2026 President of the Omicron Kappa Omega Chapter. The 2025–2026 chapter administration theme is "Significantly Soaring to the Tenacity Optimism Passion (TOP).” Under my administration, Omicron Kappa Omega will continue to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood and demonstrate the standard of exceptional service in the community. We will build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s rich legacy of service as we lead on the frontlines of change, education, and advocacy.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® (AKA), an international service organization, was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women. The remaining five initiatives serve as our “Program Initiatives”:

Build Our Economic Wealth
Enhance Our Environment

Uplift Our Local Community
These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. We work collaboratively with community partners to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service.
